How we judge hosting
Four things matter for a WordPress site: server response time under load, a sane control panel with staging and backups, support that fixes rather than deflects, and renewal pricing that does not triple after year one. Free domains and email are nice; they do not decide it.

The providers
1. Hostinger
Our default for small and medium business sites. LiteSpeed servers, built-in caching, a clean panel, staging, daily backups on higher plans, and data centres that suit Pakistani, Gulf and European audiences. We host the Viking Protective Services and Claire Dominics Buro sites here. Watch the renewal price and buy the longest term you are comfortable with.
2. Cloudways
Managed servers on DigitalOcean, Vultr or AWS. Better performance headroom than shared hosting, pay monthly, vertical scaling in a click. The right step up when a WooCommerce store outgrows shared hosting. You manage more yourself, and email is not included.
3. Hetzner
Not a WordPress host; a very good European cloud and dedicated server provider. For developers who can run their own stack it is the best price-to-performance available. We run Frankfurter Kaffeerösterei here because the audience is German and the store needed room to grow.
4. Bluehost
Long-standing, beginner-friendly, WordPress-recommended for years. Solid for a simple site that a non-technical owner will manage, which is why Paradigm Design & Construct and Dash & Pinch live here. Speed is average; caching and a CDN help.
5. GoDaddy
Often the host a client already has because the domain lives there. Workable with a caching plugin and image optimisation, as we did for Bear Cave and Superb Trans. We would not choose it fresh over Hostinger at similar prices, but there is no need to migrate a healthy site.
6. 20i
UK-based, fast, generous limits and unusually good support for the price. A strong choice for UK clients; First for Support runs here.
| Provider | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | SMB sites, Pakistan and Gulf audiences | Renewal pricing |
| Cloudways | Growing WooCommerce stores | No email, more self-management |
| Hetzner | Developer-managed, EU audiences | You run the stack |
| Bluehost | Simple sites, non-technical owners | Average speed |
| GoDaddy | Sites already there | Upsells, needs caching |
| 20i | UK clients | UK data centres only |

Common questions
- Which WordPress hosting is best for a business in Pakistan?
- Hostinger is our default for most Pakistani business sites: reasonable price, LiteSpeed performance and a data centre choice that keeps the site fast for local and international visitors. Cloudways when the site is a busy store.
- Is cheap shared hosting good enough for WooCommerce?
- For a small catalogue with modest traffic, yes, with caching. Once orders and traffic grow, checkout gets slow on shared plans; Cloudways or a Hetzner server with a managed stack is the usual next step.
- Does GoDesign provide hosting?
- We set up and manage hosting on the client's own account with any of the providers above, so you own it. We do not resell hosting under our name.
